This month we have paintings, drawings, and charcoal work up from Tumwater artist Ru'Ya. Ru'Ya is a 13 year old visual artist who focuses on representing people of color through her art. As an artist, Ru'Ya recognizes the power that art has to transform the world, as well as providing oneself with agency and autonomy over expression and connection.
